Our specialty complements your specialty. Eagle hospitalists are internal medicine physicians who work exclusively in the hospital setting, coordinating round the clock patient care for referring physicians. They work in partnership with the patient's personal physicians and hospital staff to:

• Perform evaluation and orders at the time of admission
• Assist with Emergency Room patient flow
• Manage resources efficiently - lab, X-ray pharmacy,and more
• Provide Pre-op evaluations
• Coordinate with specialists
• Provide Consultations

Eagle doctors perform all duties expected of an attending physician and ensure that the patient's personal physician receives a thorough report on each patient.  With this approach, each patient receives more focused attention. Consequently, the patient's average hospital stay tends to be significantly shortened. In addition, Eagle doctors:

• Collaborate with case managers
• Work with the hospital's formulary
• Provide discharge referrals as needed
• Communicate with referring physicians at discharge
• Schedule patient follow-up with referring physicians
